Code Camp Season is Upon Us!

As I write this, the DC area is getting blanketed in snow. But I'm not letting that get me down, because it's Code Camp time again!

Mid-Atlantic boasts some great code camps, and this year will be no exception I'm sure. Here are the Code Camps that are coming in the next couple of months:

Roanoke Code Camp

nokedotnetThe annual Roanoke Code Camp will take place this Saturday, March 9th, at the Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, VA.

The code camp features five tracks covering topics from Web development to mobile development, and a full track on Windows 8, including lab sessions so you can get hands-on with building apps for the Windows Store. Great local speakers like Joel Cochran, Kendall Miller, and L. Van Lowe, along with visiting experts, means you'll have great sessions to choose from.

The code camp runs from 8:15am-5:30pm, and space is still available, so register now!

Northern Virginia Code Camp

Northern Virginia CodeCampThe next Northern Virginia Code Camp will be held at the Microsoft office in Reston, VA on April 20th, 2013. The NoVA code camp team has some new blood this year, and they're eager to get the best speakers available, so if you're interested in speaking, the Call for Speakers is open now. They're also looking for contributors to help defray the costs of feeding hordes of developers, so if you're interested in helping out, the call for sponsors will be open soon.

Mark your calendars now for April 20th...I'll post another announcement once registration is open!
