Friday App Shout-out: Rumble Radar

Windows 8 Apps Community

Welcome to another edition of the Friday App Shout-out. I found out about this week's app at last Saturday's CMAP Code Camp, which was great fun. If you've never been to a code camp, you owe it to yourself to get to one. Anyway, here's the app:

Rumble Radar

This week's app, Rumble Radar, comes from Mid-Atlantic developer Roberto Hernandez, and it's a great example of leveraging freely-available government data to create a compelling app.

Roberto has a blog post on the app here.

RumbleRadar

Rumble Radar makes use of data from the US Geological Survey, and displays information about recent earthquakes around the world.

Go check it out!

Who's Next?

Would you like to be next? You can get links, videos, and 1:1 technical or design consultation (limited availability, so don't wait) for free at Generation App. Sign up takes only a few seconds, and the resources can help make you the next app rockstar.

Drop me a note if you're working on a Windows 8 app and have questions or need advice.
