Friday App Shout-Out: White Noise

Windows 8 Apps Community

As part of my ongoing privilege of helping local developers in Mid-Atlantic bring their Windows 8 apps to the Windows Store, I'd like to give a shout-out to the latest developer to get their app into the store, Todd Moore of TMSoft. Todd's company develops a number of apps for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and other platforms, and has brought his top-selling White Noise app to Windows 8.

WhiteNoise

White Noise features a set of great looped sounds to help you relax or sleep, with a sleep timer and neat digital clock screen.

Todd and his team had a couple of technical challenges as they worked through learning a new platform and porting to a new platform to them in C++ and XAML, and they were tenacious in working through things, and very patient with my lack of depth in C++.

Congratulations to Todd and his team at TMSoft!
