If you're working on, or thinking about building, apps for Windows 8, and looking for some help or advice, I've got good news for you.
During the month of October, myself and several local Microsoft peers will be holding Office Hours at our Chevy Chase, MD and Reston, VA offices. During Office Hours, you can drop by and ask questions, or just join us for a quiet place to code away from the distractions of your usual environment.
Here's where we'll be and when:
Every Thursday through October 25th, all day, my colleague Ashish Jaiman will be available from 10am-4pm in room 7059. Ashish specializes in working with startups, so if you're part of a startup, you should make it a point to drop in and see him.
I (and possibly some of my other Mid-Atlantic colleagues) will be available from 10am-4pm at our Reston office in room 3026 on the following Tuesdays:
Have questions about Office Hours? Drop me a note, and I'll be happy to help.
If you're working on an app, and haven't signed up for Generation App, you're missing out. GenApp features lots of great resources for developing Windows Store apps, including tips, links to relevant documentation, videos, and more. Plus, you may also have access to technical or design support for your app 1:1 with a Microsoft engineer by phone. And it's free. Register today.
